Honey takes its character from the flowers the bees visit. In Estonia, that means a short, intense summer of forest, meadow and wildflower blossom.
Long northern days
Around midsummer, Estonian days are very long. Bees can forage for many hours, and plants flower quickly in the short season. The result is honey with a clean, floral flavour.
Forests and wild meadows
Much of Estonia is covered by forest, with meadows and wetlands in between. Hives placed in this landscape have a wide mix of wild plants to forage on, far from intensive farming.

The taste of Estonian honey is the taste of the place it comes from: clean, floral and a little wild.
